Redbud trees are the state tree of Oklahoma, and natively grow over much of our state. They are known for producing  beautiful flowers ranging from light pink to purple, and even to magenta-red! Many hybrid varieties have been produced, and selections can show leaf colors as variegated, dark purple, yellow, orange or red, with growth habits showing off weeping and upright cultivars.
