The Southern Living® Plant Collection: Plants that are so much more than just a brand name on a label.

For those not familiar the name, Southern Living® is a premier lifestyle and entertaining magazine of the South and the 6th largest consumer magazine in the U.S. (based on readership). It reaches nearly 16 million readers each month and enjoys a circulation of about 2.8 million. Published 12 times a year, Southern Living® celebrates the heart of Southern life.

The plants contained in this inspiring collection were selected to help solve the sometimes difficult environment of the south. Words like humid, hot, rainy, cold, drought, windy, and more could be used to describe the seasonal changes experienced in the south. This is a plant collection designed to solve those challenges and excel in these environments. The Southern Living® Plant Collection, first introduced in Spring 2008, provides gardeners with innovative new plants that are selected as the result of years of evaluations, plant trials and research.
