Buy Zydeco Twist Blackgum online. Zydeco Twist Blackgum is a rare and unique tree, as it has very compact in its growth habit, and it features twisted and curled branches. This compact, twisted appearance makes a great show in winter after the leaves have fallen. Fall color is orange to red shaded, making it a great specimen planting in any sunny landscape. Blackgums are known to be dioecious, which means that male and female flowers are produced on separate plants, however, perfect flowers are also produced in each plant that will aid in fruit production. Multiple trees will aid in the production of fruit, and will fill the need of those looking for trees for birds and nature attraction.
