In the heat of summer, the leaves develop a silvery sheen before returning to deep purple again in fall. Creamy white flowers float above foliage on dark stems in midsummer. 'Grape Expectations' boasts increased tolerance of heat and humidity over other species thanks to its Heuchera villosa parentage.
