MADISON STAR HARDY JASMINE Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips
Trachelospermum are very easy to grow. Avoid overwatering and wet soils as they prefer moist, well drained conditions. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer.

I was looking for a jasmine vine that could survive and be evergreen in the Raleigh, NC area. I ordered this vine and it did well during the summer, but the first time the weather dropped below 30 degrees the leaves turned brown and the vines split apart. It is definitely not evergreen in zone 7b. It looks like the plant may die completely, but perhaps it will return from the roots next spring. I had it on the west side of the house so it got plenty of sun and warmth even in the winter. Since I'm looking for an evergreen vine, I guess I'll have to keep looking.
