North Carolina (Hardiness Zone: 6)
This plant seems to be extremely hardy. I planted it about 5 yrs ago. Due to family illness my flowers were neglected for 4 of those years. This little aster grew even after a firepower nandina was planted almost on top of it by well-meaning helpers. I recently spotted it growing under the bush and looking quite healthy. Transplanted it and it is doing great so far. Probably glad to see the light of day!
