Buy Henry's Garnet Sweetspire online. A compact, rounded shrub with arching branches that grows 3 to 5 feet tall by 4 to 6 feet wide. Large, white, fragrant flowers are produced in early summer. Long lasting fall color is a brilliant dark maroon with hints of pink and red.

I don't care for this shrub. It was planted in my community residence before I moved in. It's ugly and has no color to it. It takes up too much room and the leaves are a pale green. NO REFLECTION ON THIS SITE AT ALL I DID NOT GET IT HERE. I just don't like the shrub.

The itea viriginicas are a great family of plants in my book. I grow the Saturnalia, Sarah's Eve, and Henry's Garnet cultivars in a bit of a 'fringe' zone here and they do very well with great, long-lasting fall color. Easy to grow.
